my approach

“Healing is the process, often lifelong, of restoring and reawakening the capacities for safety, belonging, and dignity on the other side of trauma.”
- Prentis Hemphill

Trauma has a way of pulling us out of our bodies. For those who have experienced trauma repeatedly—especially during formative years—this disconnect can feel like a permanent part of who we are. But I believe that true healing happens when we reconnect with our bodies, rewire our nervous systems, and redefine what safety and love mean for ourselves and in our relationships. As humans, we are wired for connection and our most profound healing often unfolds in relationships—whether it’s the one we have with ourselves or with others. This is at the core of my work: to help you find your way back to yourself, to rebuild trust in your body, and to experience the safety and belonging you deserve.

I use somatic and mindfulness techniques to guide you inward, helping you to reconnect with your body, understand your internal landscape, and develop self-soothing tools to help you find calm in moments of activation. Above all, my work is grounded in self-compassion, supporting you in building a compassionate relationship with yourself that nurtures healing and growth.

I’m particularly passionate about working with people who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, non-monogamous, kinky, on the ace/sexual spectrum, or who have experienced C-PTSD. I am committed to helping you navigate the unique challenges of your identity and experiences, heal from past wounds, and cultivate a life that reflects who you truly are.

My work draws from a variety of approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, somatic techniques, mindfulness, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Each of these helps us explore your past, understand your present, and guide you toward healing and integration.

I honor the courage it takes to seek therapy, and I’m here to walk alongside you in your healing journey. Whether you're working through trauma, identity, relationships, or all of the above, I look forward to supporting you in reclaiming your safety, belonging, and peace.
